Multiple Server Performance Modeling using M/M/n Queue

Abstract

We develop a framework for optimizing the queuing system in a multiple server environment. The motivation is the servicing problem of large no. of servers, which we have modeled as M/M/n queues with N, the number of servers in this work. The subject of the present work is the M/M/n queue. This queue is characterized by Poisson arrivals at rate λ, exponential service time at rate μ, n servers and unlimited waiting positions of packets in the queue.. The model is applied in the multiple server environment, and it finds the service quality of multiple server
