Abstract

Wireless communication has become a vital part of our lives. We are dependent on it in our everyday life in almost every field, from mobile phones to navigation system. Year by year network generations has seen a lot of improvement. 0G which started from two-way radios advanced to 4G which we all are using today brought a major improvement in our lives. Now we can communicate easily with our near and dear ones living afar, play online games, share videos, access emails anywhere and much more. The world has become very small now. Furthermore researches on network generations are being done to make them more fast and reliable in less cost. This paper gives insight into all the network generation we were introduced to till now and throws light on the future generations and technologies being used to develop them.
