Abstract

The area of Mobile ad hoc networks is developing very fastly day by day. But in spite of this ad hoc network faces many security challenges that require being faced. This paper proposed EARAN (Extended authenticated Routing for Ad Hoc networks) protocol that is an extension of ARAN protocol. EARAN protocol contains all identified attacks using public-key cryptographic mechanisms and give end-to-end authentication. This paper also gives detail phases of EARAN protocol, and explains how this makes the protocol environment secure. It provides better end-to-end delay and throughput than existing ARAN protocol.
