Data Hiding Based On Histogram Modification with Known Binary Tree Level

Abstract

In this paper we store data in a host image and retrieve the very same from the watermarked image. Data is embedded in and extracted from a 8 bit gray scale image. The algorithm we are using is much efficient in retrieving the data and reconstructing the image. In the previous method the peak points of the histogram of the image are used but here we use the peaks of the histogram of the differences of pixels. Hence there is a great improvement in capacity.
