GAMIFIED LEARNING PLATFORM FOR RURAL EDUCATION: ENHANCING ENGAGEMENT THROUGH INTERACTIVE DIGITAL SYSTEMS

Abstract

The difference in the quality of education between cities and rural areas is a problem that affects how the world is developing. Cities have already started using technology but education in rural areas is still struggling with many students dropping out and not being very interested. This study suggests creating an online learning platform that uses games to make learning fun and it is specially designed for areas where resources are limited. The platform uses a combination of tools like MongoDB, Express, React and Node.js. It also uses something called Progressive Web App capabilities, which allows students to learn even when their internet connection is not very good. The system uses a rewards system that gives students points, badges and a leaderboard to motivate them to learn. This is based on a theory that says people are more motivated when they are doing something because they want to not just because they have to. When we tested this platform we found that more students were participating every day. 40% More. This paper explains how the platform is built how it can work without a good internet connection and the educational ideas that make it successful. The learning platform is a key part of this study and the platform is what makes education in rural areas better. The platforms success is due to the way it is designed and the way it uses games to make learning fun. This is what the paper is, about the platform and its ability to provide good education.
