Abstract

Abstract: Segmentation is an important process to extract suspicious region from complex medical images. In this research work a new method is proposed to diagnose liver fibrosis and brain tumor through MRI Images using image processing clustering algorithm such as Fuzzy Cognitive Means along with intelligent optimization tools, such as Hierarchical Self Organizing Map (HSOM), Bacteria Foraging Optimization (BFO). The experimental results of the proposed method are analyzed and compared with other existing methods.
