THERMAL RADIATION EFFECTS ON FLOW PAST AN IMPULSIVELY STARTED VERTICAL MOVING PLATE WITH UNIFORM HEAT AND MASS FLUX
Abstract
In this paper the thermal radiation effects on the free convection flow of a viscous incompressible fluid past an impulsively started vertical plate with uniform heat and mass flux has been analyzed. The fluid considered here is a grey absorbing emitting but a non scattering medium and Rosseland approximation is used to describe the radiative heat flux in the energy equation. The dimensionless governing equations are solved by using Laplace transform technique. Numerical results for the velocity, temperature and concentration are shown graphically.
