Abstract

In this paper, the improvement in 128 channel DQPSK-DWDM system after incorporation of polarization interleaving using Optisystem has been presented. Polarization interleaving helps to overcome non-linear inter-channel effects. Improvement in system performance is observed in terms of system performance parameters Q, BER and SNR.
