PERFORMANCE COMPARISON OF PROACTIVE ROUTING PROTOCOLS: OLSR, DSDV, WRP
Abstract
Mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) are becoming more popular to wireless communications due to wide acceptance of mobile devices. In this paper, attempt has been made to evaluate the performance of proactive routing protocols through MATLAB. Simulations is carried over Optimized Link State Routing (OLSR), Destination-Sequenced Distance-Vector (DSDV) and Wireless Routing Protocol (WRP) routing protocols. We evaluate the Throughput, Packet Delivery Ratio (PDR), MAC collision, and Error Rate for said protocols.The evaluation results show that OLSR has the best performance than other protocols.
