This paper focuses a new cluster based highway model with 802.11p technology in which the service request and service update procedure for various protocols are studied and their performances have been analyzed and the results are presented in this paper. Here a new service request and service response procedure is introduced in the cluster based highway model that increases the performance of the service reply time and broadcasting time of warning messages.
